Good day, dear friends!

Our young team of the Ukrainian Association of Driving Schools is grateful to you for the invitation.

Due to the changing and confusing present, our representative could not personally visit the Summit, but we are happy to present our newly created project to you.

In Ukraine, before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, there were more than 1,700 driving schools, and their number was gradually increasing. But the war made its adjustments.

Since the beginning of hostilities, the vast majority of Ukrainians have felt the importance of having a driver's license, because this is what makes it possible to quickly move from point A to point B. Internally displaced persons, those who have gone abroad, volunteers, and ordinary citizens have felt this , who support the Ukrainian economy every day with their work.

After the occupation of the southern territories of Ukraine, most of the local driving schools stopped their operation, only some of them managed to relocate to safer areas.

Currently, there are many obstacles and difficulties on our way, but we sincerely believe in victory and are heading towards a bright future, which is closely related to cooperation within the European Union.

Several driving schools in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region accepted today's challenges and stood up for the industry, and therefore initiated the creation of the Ukrainian Association of Driving Schools. Our goal is to bring to life all the best, ground-breaking and innovative features of European driving schools.

We definitely want our drivers to be in equivalent conditions with other road users on the roads of Ukraine and Europe. Hard work, experience, cooperation with accident training centers, consultations of motor sportsmen, trainings and seminars will allow us to optimize the training program so that our students can quickly become full-fledged drivers who can predict any road situation.

Nowadays, when our development is equated with a constant struggle and the victory of fortitude over fear, there are constant obstacles in the form of emergency power outages, air threats, lack of funds, instructors and autodromes. But we continue to work fruitfully on the creation of a new, modern, and most importantly, UKRAINIAN association of driving schools.

Currently, Ukrainian driving schools do not have real independence in their work, which affects the financial condition of employees. Corruption and unsubstantiated bureaucracy have been inherited by us since Soviet times, and have taken root in the system of driver training to such an extent that getting rid of and eradicating "sovki" traditions will be a matter for us for years, so it requires a lot of time, energy and effort.

Our tasks in working with the Ministry of Internal Affairs are to make it impossible to close the driving school for the slightest trifle, to stop collecting "tributes" from the driver training market, to self-cleanse our community of fictitious driving schools, and most importantly - to ensure that the driver training market has access to video recordings of theoretical and practical exams, which will finally put an end to the "trading of death on the roads" - the shameful practice of officials selling driver's licenses for bribes to untrained drivers.

And in this, the Association fruitfully cooperates with our largest partners - the government-public initiative "Together Against Corruption" and its leader, our friend Mykhailo Serebryakov. Together, we prepared large-scale changes to the legislation - hundreds of pages that contain solutions to key problems and lay the foundation for reforming the field of driver training.

These are separate, but very painful obstacles that prevent Ukrainian driving schools from working effectively for progress and road safety, as driving schools in Europe do.

We aim to do everything possible to implement European standards for driver training in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Association of Driving Schools is a team of professionals who are committed to high-quality education with their heart, mind and soul. Using the experience of leading Ukrainian and European driving schools, the latest training systems and seminars will be included in the training course. We do not accept template methods, our "highlight" is an individual approach to each member of our organization.

Our team is just beginning its formation, but the desire to develop, improve constant standards and move forward motivates us to work every day. We have recently created a web page to familiarize ourselves with our organization, where we conduct outreach work on the addition of new driving schools to our ranks. We will create a new history of car life to become equal members of the European family, because road safety is the most important thing for any road user.

In the modern world, which has brought many turbulent events, everyone understands how important mobility and freedom of movement are for every Ukrainian. Let's move forward to victory! Everything will be Ukraine!
